In my molecular biology class last semester the concepts were very abstract and difficult to wrap my head around. The teacher then showed a picture as well as a movie clip from youtube and both the picture and video of protein synthesis helped me understand the molecular level processes much clearer. Other ways that technology/blogs can help in the class room are: making a class blog where homework/assignments/projects could be posted or having kids post on the blog reading assignments. I think there are a myriad of ways to enhance education through technology. The sky really is the limit.
Video clips have been instrumental in my classes as well. You wouldn't think it would be as helpful in literature classes, but it has. I guess it goes to show that technology is helpful in teaching all disciplines. Nice background.
